“Power4” Bluetooth Mini Keyboard

I absolutely love the “one-touch-everything” convenience that  SmartPhones offer, in particular the iPhone (as an ardent fan and proponent of their sleek aesthetics and user-friendly interface).  Other than the battery-life issues (which really isn’t a new problem at all considering that the preceding iPods have the same inherent problem) if I have to point out one area where I’d most like to improve upon is the phone’s text-input keyboard feature.

For someone who works her full-sized Qwerty to the death on a daily basis, I often find myself in a rather compromised situation when I have to “finger” and “poke” email replies of decent lengths via the iPhone.  I can imagine that it will be even more so if you happen to be blessed with unconventionally big, and clumsy fingertips that will send E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial into a flurry of envy.

I think we all secretly hope that the iPhone comes with a Transformer-like keyboard contraption that’s seamlessly concealed and retractable especially on one of those long journeys on the road where the familiar feel of the keyboard may just bring about some sense of comfort (at least for the fingers).

Where the earlier suggestion proves to be impractical (by most counts), the closest possible solution right now manifests itself in the form of DOXAL’s “Power4” Bluetooth Mini Keyboard;  It is small and light (can be rolled up and tucked away), Bluetooth-enabled (equates to wireless) and its’ water and dust-proof (makes me wonder what other unlikely locations can one be using this cool little accessory).

Measuring a mere 280mm (L) X 85mm (W), the “Power4” Bluetooth Mini Keyboard is packed with the same wholesome goodness (and more) as the jumbo ones that we’ve grown so incredibly accustomed to.  Below are more technical information on the “Power4” Bluetooth Mini Keyboard

iPhone on the move...

Agressive advancement in communications technology is not only changing the way we communicate with each other, it also change how we live and work.

Probably one of the most dramatic phenomenons came in the form of the iPhone; a multi-media smart phone designed and marketed by Apple Inc. that has infiltrated the lives of many since 2007. In a span of 3 short years, and 4 generations (with the very recent iPhone4 launch) later, the iPhone is a gadget is no longer a coveted item for the Apple-junkies only, but a communication medium that is used and preferred by consumers of all ages, from all walks of life.

The iPhone's most controversial issue is probably its battery life, much to the dismay of many users. So naturally, a mobile power source is definitely a must for those who are constantly on the move. The question is, which one to get?

Doxals probably have the "IT" iPhone must-have accessory, especially for those who spends a great deal of time on the roads. They have the "All in one FM Kit" and the "Rotation All Kit", that not only helps you to ensure your iPhones are always juiced up (charged), it also serves as a Hands-free car kit and FM transmitter. Ok, so what does that all mean to the user?

1) Mobile Charger

The product is an in-car charger for your iPhone. Simply plug the adapter into the 12V outlet (or the car's cigarette lighter), attach the 3.5mm plug and you're ready to juice up.

2) FM Transmitter

Most cars (or almost all cars) don't come with an iPod / iPhone hub or cable, so if you want to listen to your music on your iPod / iPhone, you will most definitely need to do a little extra "work". With the "All in one FM Kit" or the "Rotation All Kit", you don't really need any other cables. Through it's FM Radio Transmittion capability using any FM station from the range of 88.1~107.9MHz, you can listen to your preferred playlist from your iPod / iPhone.

And I might add that the sound quality is of pretty decent quality (compared to the other inferior and possibly more expensive ones that I've tried).

Using a standard 3.5mm audio cable, the FM transmitter allows you to playback from other MP3 devices. 3) Hands-Free Car Kit

The kit is also integrated with hands-free ability. Once your iPhone is already nested into the cradle and wired up to the FM Transmitter, the kit will allow you to hear the other party's voice over your in-car speakers. Product trials with various car-owners also affirmed that the other party on the line wasn't affected by any feedback from his/her own voice from the speakers and most users commendated on the reception's crystal-clear quality from both ends.

Another plus; other than the iPhones, the kit works for any other phones as long as it comes with a 3.5mm plud (audio).

4) 360-degress Rotation*

Only the "Rotation All Kit" gives you the additional flexibility to swivel the cradle around for the best viewing angle of your iPhone / iTouch. For example, you may prefer a landscape view when using the GPS application on your iPhone, or watching a movie from your iTouch.

*Feature only available with the "Rotation All Kit".

5) Flexible Goose-Pipe

Probably one of the most sturdy goose-pipe mobile cradle designs by far, the "All in One FM Kit" and the "Rotation All Kit" both boasts the flexi-pipe design that makes it highly adaptable to most car makes.

Its rotation-prevention design keeps the kit (with device attached) steady and firm in its position, effectively eliminating situations where the kit might flop around when the car is navigating through speed stripes, or speed humps.

6) Flexi-Clamp Cradle

With the flexi-clamp design, the cradle can hold most of your iPhone, iTouch, iPods and MP3 players in place. High quality silicon gel pads on the back and sides protects and holds the device in place when in use.

7) USB-A output socket

The standard USB-A (5V, 1A) output socket on the side of the kit can be used as a charging outlet for other devices such as mobile phones, GPS and other devices
